Batheaston Society

Formed in 1971 the Society’s sole concern is the well-being of the village and ensuring that the character and individuality of Batheaston is not destroyed.
Regular talks are arranged in winter on subjects of local and historical interest, in summer it undertakes clearance and conservation work around the area and organises footpath walks, and  plants trees.
Year round it monitors planning applications, transport issues and Tree Preservation Orders.
